Groups
and Programs
Trinity
UCC offers the following groups and programs to members who want to
participate.
· Esther Circle
Esther Circle
The
Esther Circle is a discussion/reflection group that meets on the third
Wednesday of each month at 7 PM and is open to all women in the
church. Topics for discussion will vary based upon the needs/desires
of the group, but all will be grounded in growing in our relationship with
God and one another.

Services
Trinity
UCC offers the following services to it's members. Click for a more

Worship:
Worship
is the center of our life here. Each Sunday we enjoy fine music from our
organist and our choir. We sing a variety of music—traditional,
contemporary, and even a little Gospel and Spirituals on occasion. Prayer
time is an important time of sharing our joys and concerns with one
another. The sermons tie our daily lives to the Biblical story.
Sunday
school is from 9:15-10:15 and Worship is 10:30 to 11:30, with Coffee hour
following worship. Childrens Church (Celebration Station) and childcare is
available
Christian Education:
It’s
not just for kids! We offer Sunday school for all ages— adult, teens,
tweens, early elementary, preschool and nursery care for infants and
toddlers. During the worship service, children receive a children’s sermon
before going to Celebration Station. We plan quarterly parties for the
children—a Winter party, an Easter Egg Hunt, a Summer outing, and a party
in the Fall, shortly after school begins. Each Summer we participate in the
community-wide Vacation Bible School. We provide Nursery care during
worship and, as needed, during meetings and activities at the church. Our
children are important to us and your children will be important to us as
well.
Evangelism and Outreach:
We
participate in a variety of ministries that impact the wider Thornville
community, in addition to some of our ministries that help us demonstrate
God’s love beyond this community. For example, we participate in the…
- Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake (supporting Big
Brothers, Big Sisters)
- Fire Bowl (supporting the Thornville
Volunteer Fire Department)
- Our Church’s Wider Mission, Neighbors in Need
(to help alleviate hunger and provide disaster relief in the United
States)
- One Great Hour of Sharing (to help alleviate
hunger and provide disaster relief around the world)
- Ohio Conference Disaster Relief Response Team
- Contribute to the Thornville Ministerial
Association Emergency Fund
- Thornville Food Pantry and the Clothes Closet.
